The Painted Union was inspired from truss beams. Truss derives from the old French word ‘trousse’ that means a collection of things bound together. The central support allows lots of weight to be loaded above it, and struts running off create further stability, a sense of space, and nod to architecture that spans back to the Medieval times. Made to any size from solid oak, and available in our 5 different paint finishes.
